The Unholy Alliance, Chapter 3

Ok.

After a 4,5 hours train trip, me, Annette and Marthe finally were in Oslo. AGAIN. First we med Thea and her friend at the trainstation, then we went to be dorks at Outland for about 1 hour, where we after some time met Ylva, and later Linda.

Then we went to Arkaden, where the real cool shop “BodyMap” is [kinda like Hot Topic? Idk] and I called Aleksander, cause obviously he was coming with us to the concerts after all.. And he told me Trivium was having a signing at 4.30, so we could meet there. After talking to Aleksander, me, Ylva, Linda, Marthe and Annette went to NeoTokyo to buy more shit to our mini-drumset.
Theeeen, we went back to wait for Trivium to get their asses to the signing, but they were late.

So.. We waited in line, and we met up with Aleksander, which was awesome to meet for first time! He’s such an awesome dude.
When Trivium finally came, ppl started to shout and clap, and I was like “oh, I guess they just came :D” because I didn’t see them at first xD

So, a little more waiting in line. We were actually pretty close, after seeing how long the line actually was. We were at the table around 15 minutes after they’d come, and I got my “The Crusade” cd signed and a picture with Corey Beaulieu and Paolo Gregoletto :D And Matt Heafy insisted on shaking everyone’s hand and say Thank you. :)

After the signing we went to get something to eat before the concerts started, but then we realized how much the clock actually was. It was already 5.20 and the doors to the venue opened at 6. So we went to put our luggage in these.. boxes so we didn’t have to have them with us at the concerts. [We did shop..]

On our way to the line to the venue, I managed to trip after crossing the road, losing all the food I was going to eat xD haha.

Then we were in a line again, and before we went into the venue, we said goodbye to Ylva, which weren’t going to the concerts. Before entering the venue the guards checked us, and I managed to sneak my camera inside even though it weren’t allowed xD

While we entered the venue, the winners of “15 minutes of Fame” started to play. It was Purified In Blood, a pretty cool metal band from Norway, and damn, they are really good! So, while they played I went to buy some t-shirts at the merch, and I got a tour 2008 shirt and a pretty awesome Trivium shirt.

After Purified In Blood had had their “15 minutes of fame” Swedish Amon Amarth played. They were pretty cool too, we got really close to the stage at the last song, about 5th row or something. Then when they were finished we just stayed at the spot, and waited for Mastodon to come on.

When they came on and started the first song, the crowd went wild! I got thrown across the floor, about 3 meters from where we were standing xD And I landed right in the middle of this fucking huge mosh pit, I swear, it must have been 6 or 7 meters :O But hell, it was so fucking fun :D

It’s amazing how nice ppl in the crowd is, even if they’re totally drunk. There were 3 guys lifing me up at once I’d fallen, and later a dude started to hug on me and making me go even more crazy than we’d already done xD And a dude pushed me further the stage, because he thought I was so fucking low [in height ofc].

So, Mastodon is finished, and we’re waiting for Trivium [which was kinda the reason why I went], and we’re standing pretty close again, like 5th row again, and they start with Kirsute Gomen, and people are so fucking awesome! There was so much jumping, fighting, pushing, headbanging :D I just love it :]

And Matt Heafy even stopped the set to tell that he’d never seen so many chicks at the tour than this time, and damn, there were pretty many girls there. I got the bassists water bottle, and drank some of the water before giving it to someone else :] and the dude next to me got one of the drumsticks!

When Trivium were done, we saw about 20 minutes of Slayer before leaving. They were awesome aswell, and I wish we could’ve stayed longer, but Lindas bus were leaving at 10.15, and our train soon after, so yeah..

But hell, what an experience!
Things I got out of that day:

-          Signed Trivium cd

-          Some cool pictures

-          A pretty hurting neck after all the headbanging

-          Loads of tiredness

-          More parts to my and Ylvas mini-drumset

-          New clothes

-          Meeting people I’ve never met before / haven’t seen in a while

-          New cd’s

-          A big headace

-          Lack of sleep

-          A dragon necklace

-          A sick friend

-          And loads of good memories :D

I’ll post some pictures later, maybe tomorrow.

Oh, and my hair is GREEEEEEEN :D
